About Galen Till

I’ve spent the last 19 years immersed in the day-to-day functioning of the San Francisco Opera’s large scale, fully producing costume shop. In my current role as Senior Production Supervisor, I’m responsible for expediting the costume presentation of productions, from conception to final performance, while working within established budgets. Throughout my working life, I’ve had the opportunity to progressively take on more responsibility, which has helped me hone a variety of skills including: Supervision of staff, using creative judgement to satisfy the concepts of creative teams, prioritizing and task management in past-faced and rapidly changing environments as well as communicating effectively both orally and in writing. Theatrical costuming has a rich history, and a rich future. I’m grateful to be a part of both.
