About Gamini Martinus

I am an audit partner with over 35 years experience working with fast growth companies across a variety of industries including life science, technology, financial services, professional services and manufacturing. I have served public and fast growth companies within these industries in Australia and the United States. I have worked with 24 public companies in my career. I continue to work with a number of privately held and private equity back companies which are looking to grow. I have assisted clients successfully complete acquisitions and numerous public offerings including listing on the ASX and Nasdaq. Working with both public and entrepreneurial companies has enabled me to identify some of the common issues companies face early as they embark on their journey to help them accelerate their growth. We are able to share the collective knowledge EY has with entrepreneurs and seasoned executives to guide companies through their growth journey. I bring a unique technical and commercial background with a focus on people and service. High performing teams are made of people who are engaged and provide diversity in thought. I have a passion for mentoring people both within EY and externally to reach their potential and strongly believe diversity and inclusiveness builds high performing teams. I am a member of EY Oceania Diversity Council which strives to increase diversity in thought and EY’s Global Social Equity Taskforce and Global Diversity and Inclusiveness Steering Committee. I gained two years international experience in EY's Silicon Valley offices in San Jose and Palo Alto, California between 1997 and I had the opportunity to work with a Fortune 500 Technology company, multinational companies both public and venture backed, as well as entrepreneurial companies. This experience provided me with exposure to what companies needed to do to accelerate their growth. I have worked with some of Australia’s most successful technology companies. I currently lead EY's Focus on Cultural Diversity I previously lead EY's National Life Science Practice, National Accounting Compliance and Reporting team and two assurance business units within EY Sydney.
