A Graduate of Business Studies, Ganesh Sharma has earned valuable eighteen years of experience in development sector. He worked in or managed more than 70 + surveys/assessments/performance evaluation in different sector namely governance, biodiversity, agriculture, GESI, public health, Gender based violence, forestry, education, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, Macro and micronutrient, nutrition, and livestock/veterinary. During this period, he worked with different agencies like USAID, UNDP, UNICEF, UNFAO, AI.COMM, Academy for Educational Development, Family Health International, ChidHope UK, ICF, Institute of Cultural Affairs, Lutheran World Federation, Manchester University, Micronutrient Initiative, Health Ministry/Bhutan, NewEra, Save the Children, Sheffield University, Social Science Baha, CAMRIS International, Vanderbilt University, Society for Management and Development, NewEra, World Health Organization, Center for Molecular Dynamics either directly or indirectly via research agency in different capacities. After joining CAMRIS, he contributed in carrying out 30+ several studies/assessments/surveys in last five and half years. He was selected as an “employee spotlight” by CAMRIS in 2019 for recognition of his hard work since inception. He has handled up to.8 million household data, more than variables (questions) and calculated one indicator from variables. He co-designed and implemented innovative methodology to calculate informal trade, a sensitive survey involving interview to emergency contraceptive pills buyer and users (unmarried also) besides defining quality control protocols for monitoring and evaluating surveys/assessments like geo-fencing, filtering, inter-rater reliability, real time dashboard for data syncing etc. to collect valid data followed by analysis and interpretation. He is familiar data integrity and anonymity, sampling and sample size calculation. He is very knowledgeable in different research methodologies can perform basic statistics to advance bi-variate and multi-variate statistical tests using SPSS, STATA and R interchangeably. Likewise, he also has provided 840 hours of training on Research Methodology, Statistics, SPSS coupled with monitoring and evaluation to different audience. Similarly, he is also able to run qualitative data analysis software like dedoose and NVIVO along with Python, Anaconda and GIS for data visualization.
