About Garbrielle Archer

Garbrielle A. Archer is a tourism professional, with 14+ years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. She joined the Ministry of Tourism in January 2007 as a Coordinator in the Human Resources Department. Three years later, she was selected to represent the Ministry of Tourism and The Bahamas, as a Tourism Ambassador at the World Exposition in Shanghai, China for a period of 5 months. In May 2014, Garbrielle was promoted to Manager in the Family Islands Destinations Department where she worked diligently to promote and increase domestic tourism. One short year later, she was promoted to Area Manager and relocated to Washington, District of Columbia where she headed the Bahamas Tourist Office for two years and had responsibility for the Mid-Atlantic USA. In 2018, Garbrielle was transferred to Atlanta, Georgia where she presently resides and has responsibility for 8 states including Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky. Garbrielle earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of The Bahamas (formerly, the College of The Bahamas), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Hospitality Administration from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University. In addition, she completed a Sales and Marketing Certificate Program from Nova Southeastern University and a Seminar in Tourism Resources Development and Environment Protection from Hainan University.
