Chemist, brewer, production manager, and cGMP expert with 3+ years of experience managing two growing craft beer breweries with annual productions of 5200+ hL of clean and mixed-fermentation beer. Responsible for quality control, planning, budgeting, initiating and coordinating brewery improvements, and managing growth of a team from two to ten employees. Preparation of HACCP food safety plans and compliance. Three years experience as a professional pharmaceutical chemist, performing research and development in the immuno-oncology field. Team leader for the synthesis of several drug molecules for First-In-Human chemical campaigns, and translating work between departments such as Quality Control, Regulatory, Analytical, Supply Chain and Raw Material management, with successful execution in internal Manufacturing Plants, and external technology transfer to CRO and TPM. Extensive experience with developing and validating chemical analytical methods and documenting results in SAP and LIMS. Prior experience managing research labs, PhD students and postdoctoral students, and demonstrated consistent success in leading research projects. I am an analytical problem solver with focus on the end result. I effectively navigate between the uncertainty of limited data, designing and improving analytical data collection, and risk-based decision making. Proactive attitude and desire for optimization and improving existing methodologies are second nature to me.
