About Gareth Dawson

I graduated with First Class Honours in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh. I love using technology to solve tough problems and make things work better. During my time at university, I learned a lot about programming with Java, how to build efficient software using smart design choices, and how to make sure that software is safe from cyber threats. Outside of class, I've worked on a bunch of different projects. I made a fun version of Twitter that jokes about how much Ethereum you have and worked on Proter, a tool that helps with planning and organization. These projects let me get hands-on with tools like JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, and Solidity, and I'm always excited to try out new tools and ways of doing things. Being a part of groups like the Edinburgh University's Swing Dance Society and the Scouts taught me a lot about working with others, communicating well, and taking on leadership roles. I've also been part of teams in competitive rowing, so I know how important it is to work together and stay committed. I'm always looking to learn more and take on new challenges. Technology is always changing, and I want to keep up with it, learn as much as I can, and use what I learn to make cool things. Let's connect!
