About Gareth Hanson

I started my career as a graphic designer, working on packaging, corporate literature, branding etc. Anything from conceptualising to finished artwork (I even used to create artwork on a drawing board - proper old school). I did this for around 15 years. My career then took a different path, as I diversified into web design. My strengths here were conceptualising, planning, wireframes, structure, visuals and UI. Eventually I began to feel that the really exciting part of building web sites was the actual business side. Making web sites that really meet a marketing objective, measuring and improving their performance. This led me to specialise in online marketing, and this includes search marketing (SEM), inbound / content marketing, PPC, email marketing and social media. I now work as an online marketing consultant.'Woof' was established late 2010 has has gone from strength to strength since then. 2018 update. I qualified as a mountain bike coach & guide last year. I now own and run Mission Mountain Biking and split my time between Consultancy and time on my mountain bike.
