About Gareth Hine

Sales Director / Business Development Director with extensive experience in spray drying systems, evaporator plants, industrial ventilation, pneumatic conveying, dust control and process engineering. Initially with a project management background, I have been involved with technical sales and business development for the last 20 years. Having worked in the industrial ventilation sector for many years, I am now Director of Sales for the UK's leading provider of spray drying systems. Member of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management. Working to deliver projects within the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries throughout the world. European SprayDry Technologies (ESDT Operations Ltd) are a fast growing, dynamic company providing outstanding spray drying systems with a strong emphasis on technical and engineering excellence. Available equipment and systems range from stand-alone £100k pilot spray drying units to £6m+ turnkey production spray drying and powder production plants. We have an enviable back catalogue of blue chip clients globally, all of whom are benefitting from the production advantages gained by producing powder on ESDT's high quality and innovative process engineering plant. Our equipment is suitable for drying a myriad of materials across a wide spectrum of industrial sectors. Our extensive product range also includes evaporators, fluid bed dryers and high specification dust filters. 2015 proved to be another excellent year for ESDT with a further year on year turnover increase and large new projects secured in the dairy, food and nutroceutical industries. 2016 has seen ESDT secure several new orders for our recently introduced pilot scale range of spray dryers, significant contracts in the chemical / recycling sectors and our first spray dryer contract for the pharmaceutical market. 2017 has demonstrated consolidation of the last two years growth profile with a balanced mix of new and returning clients. 2018 /2019 delivered the largest single contract secured by ESDT to date, along with several other major contracts, which helped to ensure that both years delivered record sales figures for the business. Project locations for this period included Australasia, Middle East, CIS, Europe and USA. 2020 financial year has already seen new multimillion GBP contracts secured in both the USA and UK with the business once again on track to deliver record annual sales. 2021 has seen extensive new orders secured for production and pilot scale spray drying plants in UK, USA, Europe & Asia.
