The Director of Quality for the Lifeways Group and a member of the Executive Team reporting to the board. The Lifeways Group has over employees and supports over people across 1400 locations. Lifeways is one of the UK’s leading providers of support services for people with diverse and often complex needs in community and residential settings and the largest supported living provider in the UK. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and board on all quality, health, safety and regulatory matters. Responsible for leading a Quality Team, Health and Safety Team, Claims Management Team, Audit and Compliance Team and Regulation function, all of which have an overall objective to ensure the people we support live happy, independent and fulfilling lives. Responsible for the implementation of quality, health and safety policies, quality audit schedule, data capture and analysis, enterprise risk management, fire safety, colleague wellbeing, environmental management, legislative compliance, operational business continuity, emergency preparedness, claims management/insurance renewal, CHAS accreditation/ISO compliance, ESG. A strong focus on innovation and embracing technology as the lead officer for the implementation of an eCompliance system to manage compliance. At the heart of the Lifeways ethos is promoting and embedding person centred approaches across the organisation. I look to empower managers and colleagues to drive quality and safety providing the teams with the skill set and confidence they require to take ownership of health, safety and the overall quality and compliance.
