About Gareth Thomas

I am an experienced Head of PE, Assistant Head of PE. I have also held whole school post such as Head of Careers and WEX and Student Leadership Coordinator. I have been fortunate to work with primary, secondary schools as well as sports lecturing in further education, to raise the profile and standard of PE/Sport. I love teaching and learning, it is an amazing feeling to help others achieve their potential. I have enjoyed numerous roles in schools during my career, I believe that being driven, forward thinking and enthusiastic in all you do, can really inspire others around you. I have always given 100% in all I have done, and although sometimes things do not go as you may wish, every journey is a learning opportunity. I am looking to develop my knowledge of football by creating links and relationships for future progression. I ran the Dudley District sides for over 10 years, based in the West Midlands, where I worked with all levels of player. I am now helping to lead a post 16 Sixth Form Football Academy, I will be actively looking for fixtures, training camps and trip opportunities for my players.
