About Gareth Vaughan

As a Bioprocess Associate at MSD, I apply my academic proficiency and hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing to ensure the quality and safety of biopharmaceutical products. I completed a Level 7 University Certificate in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technologies from Technological University Dublin in April 2024, driven by a keen interest in Commissioning and Qualification of Equipment and production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Prior to joining MSD, I worked as an Aseptic Manufacturing Technician at Zoetis, where I contributed to the manufacturing of injectables for animal health. I also have a robust investigative background from my policing career at An Garda Síochána, where I received a commendation with merit for my outstanding contributions to the Covid-19 Pandemic Oversight Task Force. I am a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with strong skills in safety awareness, attention to detail, and problem solving. I am passionate about learning new technologies and techniques in the pharmaceutical industry, and I am always eager to collaborate with and support my team members. My goal is to continue to develop my expertise and knowledge in aseptic manufacturing and to pursue a career in pharmaceutical engineering.
