I am a Wastewater Specialist (BSc (Hons), M.Res) with 20 years experience in all aspects of water and wastewater treatment – domestic wastewater, potable water, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge management and project management. I specialise in innovative on-site and decentralised system design for small community wastewater treatment and disposal systems. My role involves detailed treatment and disposal options studies, assessment of environmental effects, client liaison, resource consent applications and project implementation. I am also experienced in Trade Waste discharge consent applications, reducing trade waste volumes and trade waste pre-treatment. I have extensive NZ and overseas experience with large municipal wastewater/sludge treatment facilities. I am also Chairman of the WaterNZ SWANSIG committee which specialises in on site wastewater management issues in New Zealand.
