About Gareth Williamson

I began off my early years at cooking as it was what I really enjoyed and had a passion for, I still do and free lance were and when needed. I took a career change in 2017 as I've always been interested in Electrical work and after looking for several years and trying to get into this industry I eventually got the opportunity and offered a position with Moypark to complete my course as an apprentice. I'm now into my final year and then I will be qualified as multiskilled Engineer level 3 in 2020. My plans is to keep at the studying after this year and complete my Foundation Degree in Mechtronics that is my dream to reach this goal. I've now completed my level 3 electrical/mechanical engineering and got a full time role within Moy Park working with a large variety of food processing equipment ranging from Marel to Meyn machines. With being such a big site, from kill end to production there is a wide range of different machines to be working with and getting hands on experience in a big field of machines learning something new everyday. I am also studying my HNC to better my own self and the company i work within and gain better knowledge as I aim to be a better person than I was yesterday, with technology changing fastly It is good to keep up with it and studying as I really enjoy that.
