About Garima Rathee

I am a postdoctoral researcher with experience in project proposal preparation and assisting the principal investigator in managing and coordinating Spanish and European projects. I have actively participated in the execution of the projects, mainly addressing the experimental tasks but also have been involved in the periodic consortium meetings, deliverables, presentation preparations, and communication/dissemination activities. My current research is focused on engineering safe-by-design antibacterial nanomaterials for biomedical and wastewater treatment applications and functional coatings on medical devices to prevent the development of bacterial infections and resistance. My doctoral work was based on the engineering of novel nanomaterials for water treatment, catalytic organic transformations, and biomedical applications. I am an author of several book chapters, and scientific articles in peer-reviewed high-impact factor journals in Q1 and participated in scientific quality international congresses. I am self-motivated, multi-tasks, open-minded, determined, and committed to achieving my goals.
