About Garret Andre-Johnson

I have spent 7 of my last 10 years working in the wine and hospitality industry. I took a two year hiatus to be the stay-at-home parent for my now three year old, and then spent a year as a Coordinator for a Richmond based nonprofit to work near home. During the years I spent in hospitality and management, I became a Certified Sommelier, developed robust customer service and DTC sales skills, and honed my leadership skills. While at K. Laz Wine Collection I was the tasting room manager. My responsibilities included scheduling and hosting private wine tasting, reaching out to my DTC clients, managing and fulfilling our wine clubs, and maintaining our $20k-$25k in store inventory. I sold $1 million in my last year at K. Laz Wine Collection. K. Laz was a small operation, and I was involved in the full cycle of wine sales: POS, fulfillment, shipping, follow up, and thank yous.
