About Garret Keating

I’m a scientist turned strategic leader, currently working as an Associate Director in biotech—where I get to combine my love of science with my drive to build high-impact teams and technologies. With over a decade of experience in analytical R&D, bioassay development, and cell therapy, I’ve worked across the full preclinical spectrum—from early discovery through to IND-enabling studies. My background includes hands-on work with B/T cell screening, flow cytometry, immunoassays, molecular biology, and high-throughput platforms to support therapeutic development, especially in oncology and immunotherapy. What I enjoy most is solving complex scientific challenges, developing robust assays that stand up to regulatory scrutiny, and helping teams grow—both scientifically and professionally. I’ve led cross-functional teams, and mentored Engineers & Scientists at different stages of their careers. I’m passionate about bridging the gap between data and decision-making, and I believe the best science happens when collaboration, curiosity, and purpose align.
