About Garrett Barringer

When I am not out hiking, enjoying nature, or working on things in the garage, I am spending time bettering myself in the classroom. Over the course of my life, finding a career that I found enjoyable has been challenging. until I came across Electrical Engineering. In the past year of being in the Russ College of Engineering at OU, I have really started to adapt and become much more passionate about Electrical Engineering. I am so excited to see what the future holds. At a young age, I once had a teacher of mine tell me that I had amazing leadership skills and that the attitude I have makes everyone around me better as a result. This compliment speaks volumes to me still, and the person I strive to be as a friend, brother, son, fiancé, student, and colleague. I believe that one of the most important things I can use to positively affect my life day-to-day is a good work ethic and a good attitude!
