About Garrett Blasi

After nearly seven years of working in the animation industry, I decided to make a change in January of 2024 and switched to a career in health care. I’ve always had an interest in working with seniors, so I started this new journey working for TheKey as an in-home caregiver. Then in October of 2024, I was offered and accepted a position at WelbeHealth’s senior day center in Pasadena. The services I provide include transfers, meal prep, bathing and hygiene assistance, laundry, transportation, medication reminders, social engagement and exercise. I have assisted post-op with daily exercises and have a strong interest in physical therapy. I have gained experience assisting individuals living with dementia as well as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Additionally, I have experience with hospice care and all of the hardships that involves. I am also CPR/BLS certified through the American Heart Association. Shortly after completion, I put that certification to use in the real world! No matter the situation, I aim to give my clients the best care that I can provide. I achieve this through respect, a calm but positive demeanor, and compassion. It is a privilege to serve the elderly, and I do so with a level of commitment that I would want my own loved ones to receive. Last updated on 5/13/2025.
