About Garrett Farley

Hello there! My name is Garrett Farley and I have completed my third year at MJC. I am starting with general education classes as I explore different options for my academic future. I have an interest in government due to my participation in speech and debate. However, I also have an interest in the medical field and in serving others. I love stories, whether they are told through a person, book, or movie because they give you new perspectives, take you to new places, and give you unique experiences. I play both piano and guitar. I play electric guitar for my Church's youth worship band. I bike and run regularly though I enjoy playing baseball and soccer in the spring and fall respectively. I have participated in a debate club in Modesto and I am now interning with a leadership organization called the Institute for Cultural Communicators, which is seeking to get students ready to speak. In my free time, I love playing Star Wars X-wing miniatures, Marvel or Star Wars Villainous, as well as keeping up with the latest Marvel and Star Wars shows.
