About Garrett Johnson
I started my career working as a pipeline laborer. I was quick to learn that I wanted to be on a piece of equipment. I learned how to rig because laborers rigged our own pipe and valves. I quickly moved up to running an escavator, digging ditch, lowering pipe, backfilling, digging hotlines, etc. in between operating I worked rigging up rebar helping ironworkers and unloading trucks in laydown yard. In 2016 I decided to take a leap and pay for rigging school at ABC in Laporte TX. I passed my hands on and written receiving my NCCER advanced rigger cert.
