Hi, I’m Garrett Olsen, a Business Management student at Brigham Young University Idaho, originally from Gilbert, Arizona. I pride myself on being a dedicated, out-of-the-box thinker who is always striving for excellence. My professional journey began in high school when I worked at a local movie theater. Over time, I advanced to a team leader role, where I successfully managed groups of 5-15 employees, ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Afterward, I spent two years volunteering in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which taught me valuable lessons in life, leadership, and patience. In addition to my church service, I've gained diverse work experience in various industries, including call centers, gas stations, wholesale flower businesses, and retail at a sporting goods store. These roles have helped me develop strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. As I approach the final year of my college journey,I am currently working as a Manager Training Internship for Hertz Rental Cars. I’m excited to contribute my skills and continue learning in a more focused, professional setting.
