About Garrison Budd

I'm a senior at The Ohio State University with a strong passion for Human Resources and a clear focus on building a meaningful, people-centered career in the field. My interest in HR is driven by a desire to help create supportive, efficient, and empowering workplaces where employees feel supported and inspired to grow.In my current role as a Recruitment and Retention Specialist at Gutridge, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience across several key HR functions. I’ve contributed to improving onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new hires feel welcomed and engaged from day one. I also support recruitment efforts by sourcing and screening candidates, while helping match top talent with the right opportunities.Beyond talent acquisition, I assist with employee time tracking systems to support compliance and operational accuracy, contribute to the development of HR reports for leadership decision-making, and help maintain organized, confidential employee records in line with legal and organizational standards. As I prepare to graduate, I’m eager to continue learning and growing as an HR professional, and to bring my skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to building positive workplace cultures in the organizations I serve.
