About Garrison Lin

As a Registered Nurse in Ontario and a Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) candidate, I am deeply committed to advancing healthcare through the integration of critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care. My academic journey, which includes an Honors Specialization in Physiology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University, has equipped me with a strong foundation in both the biological sciences and nursing. In my current role at Parkwood Institute, I provide comprehensive care to individuals with complex medical conditions, playing an integral role in an interdisciplinary team dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes. My experience spans from general surgery to complex care, and I am driven by a passion for delivering holistic and patient-centered care. Beyond my clinical work, I am actively involved in mentorship as the Co-Chair of the Mentorship Committee for the Sigma International Honor Society of Nursing - Iota Omicron Chapter. I am committed to fostering the professional growth of new nurses and contributing to the development of the nursing profession. When I’m not working, I find balance and inspiration in outdoor adventures, whether it’s fishing, hiking, or simply enjoying the tranquility of nature. I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
