As an Intermediary Mortgage Expert at Barclays, I help brokers and solicitors find the best mortgage solutions for their needs and circumstances throughout the entire journey from new case enquiries, to keying, to completion enquiries. I use my strong problem solving, communication, and people management skills to handle complex and diverse cases, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. Previously, I was an ARR Controller at Abellio Group, where I was responsible for the real-time implementation and planning of alternative rail replacement transport for Scotland's Railway. I managed a team of coordinators, worked effectively with with third party and public sector companies, and monitored and reported on KPIs and performance improvement. I also have four years of experience as a Shift Leader at Tesco, where I delivered a clean and safe store for customers, managed a small team, and assisted senior management with performance meetings and sales data analysis. I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, where I developed a solid foundation in mathematical and scientific concepts and methods. I am passionate about learning new skills and applying them to real-world situations.
