With over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I have developed an expertise in customer support, patient financial services, insurance verification, claims management, and medical records. In my current role, I am a dedicated and reliable Practice Support Specialist working in the medical records dept. with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the success of our organization. My knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and regulations has helped me remain compliant and maintain the confidentiality and security of patient records while utilizing EMR/EHR systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allow me to facilitate patient scheduling and respond to inquiries from internal and external healthcare providers, patients, insurance companies, and other authorized parties. Additionally, my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities have been instrumental in the triage of complex issues requiring in-depth analysis or interpretation.
