My name is Garry Chauhan Rajput, and I’m an administrative professional currently working as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Northern British Columbia.I see myself as someone who is deeply committed to professional growth. Throughout my career, I've consistently sought environments that provide a sense of belonging, opportunities to collaborate, and healthy challenges - elements that make me proud of the work I do and motivate me to contribute my best.I began my career at the age of 17, where I handled reception duties and ran errands for a local medical lab in India. My next role involved working with students pursuing English as a second language. This experience was incredibly rewarding and it not only deepened my passion for education but also solidified my interest in pursuing a career in the post-secondary education sector. After I moved to Canada in September 2022, I soon found myself involved in work that utilized my aptitude for administrative support while remaining in student-centric environments.Currently, I am refining my administrative skills through diverse hands-on roles, while also taking over volunteering opportunities that align with my skillset. These experiences are shaping my professional abilities and aligning seamlessly with my long-term goal of earning a Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in leadership and management by 2030.I’m always looking forward to opportunities to enhance my skills.
