I have an AA Degree in HVAC Mechanical with over 16 years in Facility Management; I intend to complete my Bachelors degree. I have 6 years of working directly in Banking and financial facilities as a manager of building engineering. I fully understand the criticality of financial institution needs for no down time to critical computing systems and call centers. I have a solid history of producing excellent results within a maintenance budget with a majority of cases under predicted budget parameters. I have excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. I have extensive knowledge in the following areas; project estimation, job accounting, contractor management, EPA compliance in refrigerants/ generator & boiler emissions, project inspections and creating project punch lists. I have 25+ years of repairing small to large mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC & R, pumping systems for landscaping, fire, boilers, electrical switch gear, transfer switches, generator sets, UPS battery strings and chiller systems. I have an extensive working knowledge of all facility HVAC equipment, electronic/electric equipment – including critical power systems, fire life safety, CCTV systems,space management, and custodial maintenance, construction and vendor management. I have worked with various CMMS/FMS programs such as Maximo, Infor, and more. I have extensive knowledge of selling HVAC equipment and Maintenance contracts. I currently work at UNLV in the HVAC Shop in a HVAC 1 position. I accepted this position, not only to return back to Las Vegas and be with my family, but also to have the possibility of future advancement returning to a position appropriate to my skill and experience level. We have resided in Las Vegas, NV for 20 plus years. At this point, my main goal is to get back to what I do best: Managing, coaching, employees and researching new ways to improve facility and employee productivity.
