About Garth Bull

With over 20 years of international business and engineering experience, Garth is recognized as a business and people leader within Arcadis. As a people leader, Garth recognizes the importance of diversity in thought (neurodiversity) within teams to drive high performance. As a trained executive coach, Garth provides executive coaching to senior managers and leaders to support them as they grow to become authentic and effective leaders. Garth currently leads Arcadis’s Dutch water management business (Living Deltas and Maritime Infrastructure) which provides advisory and engineering design solutions to public and private clients across Europe and globally. The group has a primary focus on climate adaptation solutions, Garth is also currently holding a leadership position in the transformation to a One European Business within Arcadis. Garth is well recognized as being able to set up and lead new international projects or businesses and also turnaround those that are under-performing. This is due to his ability to develop clear execution strategies, form and manage high performing teams and make the necessary decisions. Throughout Garth’s career, he has competitively tendered and successfully managed the delivery of large and complex geotechnical and water engineering projects across the world. He has done this by collaborating and forming partnerships with globally recognized engineering companies and contractors. Garth’s global experience extends from Australasia, the Middle East, UK & Europe, Asia and the US. Garth held the role of Global Business Audit Manager within Arcadis Corporate for a period of 2 years. In this role, Garth successfully conducted business audits across Arcadis’s international operations to assess business risk exposure and recommend interventions. Garth reported his findings directly to Arcadis’s regional CEOs and Global Executive Board.
