Garth Busch, CPA, CA, is currently semi-retired in Nanaimo, BC. He utilizes his business advisory, Taxation and Accounting experience acting on the Board of Directors of Nanaimo airport Commission and All Island Equity REIT and as an advisor for both commercial and non-profit enterprises. He also spends time on his hobby farm. Until October,2015 Garth served as the Regional Managing Partner for MNP’s Vancouver Island region. Prior to his retirement, Garth utilized more than 40 years of experience to deliver assurance, tax and business consulting solutions to a wide range of clients in diverse industries including construction, forestry, aviation, health care and agriculture. As a dedicated leader within his profession, his team and his community, Garth’s extensive accounting and advisory experience allowed him to effectively mentor and empower fellow professionals across Vancouver Island, helping local businesses and organizations stay competitive and profitable. He took great pride in working with clients to help them achieve their personal and business goals and believed strongly in the importance of building future leaders within the communities and organizations he worked with. Garth has held numerous leadership positions in service clubs, not-for-profit organizations and business groups. He has served on various committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan and numerous community organizations.
