About Garth McAlpin

Classic Architectural Group are leaders in 'Enhancing Public Space'. Leading the way for over 30 years, Classic Architectural Group are committed in our focus to enhance the accessibility, safety and aesthetics of public space. Our customers succeed because of our unrivalled knowledge of safety standards, our superior entrance matting and floor safety solutions, and our innovative can-do culture - all synonymous with the Classic brand. With a background in both manufacturing, installation, project management and sales roles, I have had the opportunity to work on many complex projects. As a National Fulfilment Manager I've been responsible for resolving complex issues, setting and implementing strategy, translating a vision into product/ service delivery, and embedding values into organisational culture. I'm also passionate about advocating the disciplines of Universal Design, and truly believe that its principles need to be implemented internationally so that accessibility is considered for all people regardless of capability, age or background. Universal Design inclusion in urban environments is an investment that benefits everyone. It improves the experience of movement and connectivity, and not just built infrastructure – it also includes services and experiences, and demands changes in design thinking beyond the traditional. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and children, and volunteering to community causes. Thanks for taking a look at my profile and have a great day.
