About Garvan Grant

Traffic Media, which was founded by me and Julian Fleming, provides a range of content to Irish and multinational companies across a range of channels, including websites, blogs and social media. We also carry out consultancy work on content for various indigenous firms and multinational companies in need of different types of content, whether that is creative, journalist, technical or other. Mercier Press also recently published my best-selling Trueish History of Ireland, a witty celebration of the Irish people and their legendary sense of humour. The book also contains more than 60 cartoons by renowned cartoonist Gerard Crowley. It can be purchased here: I also used to freelance as an editor and writer and have just finished working with The Irish Times. Before that, I was deputy chief sub-editor of The Sunday Business Post. I left there in summer 2013 to set up my own business and write The Trueish History of Ireland. I also had my own satirical column, PostMortem, in the Magazine of The Sunday Business Post from 2004 to 2014. Before that I had a column called BackSpin in In Dublin magazine.
