Represent the Product Team on eight different Component Management Teams, which consist of Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, Logistics and Quality Control. Manage, mentor and train Product Specialist. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Lead cross-functional teams to implement new product launches and new sales programs. Utilize Project Planner to track steps to insure timely and successful launches. Apply Lean techniques to streamline processes and reduce lead-times. PRICING STRATEGY AND NEGOTIATION: Work with Pricing Team to find margin enhancement opportunities. Develop pricing strategies for the fiscal year to target specific product lines during certain quarters. Negotiate with suppliers to get best pricing, bulk buy opportunities and average weighted costs to insure the pricing is competitive in the marketplace.
