I am a career professional with over 25 years of experience in care and supported living services. I established my career pathway through working in older people services, mental health accommodation, floating support services and management both in an office setting and as a front line supervisor. I am a highly motivated and proven that my management and leadership qualities meet the high level standards set out by the organisation I represent and commissioning bodies. I have a proven track record working in partnership with a housing provider in order to meet an excellent mental health accommodation provider service, meet budget demands and ensure the service is financially viable. I have the ability to identify excellent goods and services, local, national or international that are value for money; high quality financial analysis and stock analysis skills. I have full knowledge of the Data Protection Act and able to respect staff, client and others confidentiality. I am skilled in computers and other technology, able to use computer office software such as Word and PowerPoint and qualified as a trainer in Outlook software which includes email manipulation, contact creation, calendar creation, meeting and virtual meeting invitation creation and task manager creation. I am a qualified health and safety officer with the ability to assess the environmental risks and implement precautions that are cost effective. Also qualified in National Standards for Safe Handling of Medicines. I can manage a staff team, including work pattern planning, ensuring minimum cover is always met, track record of supervising and appraising staff so that they are able to meet the required standards and also realise their full potential. Ability to manage different types of services including accommodation based, Outreach, visiting support and day provision. I am also able to transfer many of my excellent skills in to differing roles to meet organisational requirements. Highly effective manager of change. An integral frontline manager that met the standards set out by Supporting People’s Quality Assurance Framework which improved services. Continually analysing the service for further improvements and liaising with other services who are exercising best practice so that those may be introduced. I was also integral to the corporate procedure for Adult Social Care Independent Living Project that has modernised services in the Leeds district to meet current national standards. Have been a leader in introducing new ideas and concepts during change processes.
