I have been involved in the Security Industry for approximately 29 years. In this time, my qualifications have allowed me to cover all aspects of the Industry including Crowd Control, Security Guarding, Armed Guard & Patrols, Loss Prevention, Bodyguard, Control Room Operations, Firefighting & Emergency / First Aid Response Services and Port Facility Security Manager. My roles within various companies have ranged from State Operations Manager, HR Manager, Training Manager, Security / Fire / OH & S Risk Management & Consultation, OH & S Manager, Emergency Response Manager, Client Services Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. Over this time my employment has allowed me to consistently liaise with Victoria Police, Federal Police, Special Operations Group, State Intelligence Group, ASIO, Australian Customs, Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Department Of Transport And Regional Services, Office of Transport Security, Australian Quarantine Inspection Services, Port Authorities, Melbourne Fire Brigade, Country Fire Authority, Military / Service Police, Australian-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Liquor Licensing, WorkSafe Victoria, Unions, Local Councils, Neighbourhood Watch, Australian Security Industry Association (ASIAL) and Crowd Control Employers Association (CCEA). In addition, I have also conducted Training and Risk Consultancy overseas. - I met with the Fijian Prime Minister and other delegates in relation to Australian-Fiji Security Forces and consulting in training measures and improvements. 2005 - In Bali, I consulted with two hotels and a nightclub over a two week period assisting with Security Guards and Emergency Evacuations along with the Bali Police Chief (POLSEK) and Security Chief (POLDA) at the Police-Security Training Academy (SATPAM) in Denpasar (Bali). 2007 - In Vietnam, I met with the trade commission board and assisted in consulting with hotels and backpackers. security and risk management measures. From 2011, I have worked with the City of Melbourne in the Safe City Control Room as a Surveillance Operator. 2024 - Now expanding my portfolio as a Safe City Surveillance Supervisor and a Security Site Supervisor for the City of Melbourne.
