I have been working within the financial services industry since 1997 and have a wide variety of experience in Settlements, Derivatives, Data Maintenance, NAV analysis, On-Boarding and Risk.In my current role as a Risk Management Consultant I am responsible for managing a team of three staff. The team supports the operational teams within Franklin Templeton that cover multiple product types - Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and all Cash Products. The main responsibilities of the team are to control the incident reporting function when new issues are raised from the business units and to work with them to review the controls with the potential of implementing enhancements to prevent recurring errors.The team are also responsible for performing regular procedural reviews/deep dive analysis of functions where there have been recurring trends of issues, managing the Interest Claims function and controlling internal and external audits.I would describe myself as an excellent communicator as all the positions I have held within the industry have involved working with staff internally and externally to help me perform my job to the best of my ability. I am hard working, reliable, happy working on my own or in a team, can multi task and work well when under pressure.
