To keep planetary warming below 1.5 degC by century's end, global carbon emissions must be halved by 2030, and companies have a key role to play. Right now I'm driving Schneider's key role in decarbonising the glass industry. We're calling it the "Green Glass" initiative and offer our products and consultancy services "from Grid to Glass". What does Grid to Glass entail? We at Schneider can help with the utility scale renewables you buy, the grid connection, and MV/LV distribution in your plant all the way up to your new electrified furnace. We don't stop there though. We want to help you drive your digital transformation both in IT & OT, optimise your furnace with digital twins, and maximise uptime with our field services team - for the life of the plant, from Grid to Glass. Now a little about me personally: I possess diverse skills in strategy & business development, engineering, risk analysis, implementing cross-functional projects, and influencing senior leaders on energy and sustainability issues. Qualifications: • MSc - Renewable Energy & Energy Policy • B.Eng - Electrical & Telecommunications • Certified Project Manager I live in Amsterdam where I can be found fending off friendly jests about my e-bike from friends and colleagues who insist on driving to work or baseball.
