About Gary Cox

Gary Cox is the Vice President of National Medicare Business Strategy and Performance Analytics at Kaiser Permanente. Kaiser Permanente serves over 1.7 million Medicare members as both individual consumers and as retirees of over group purchasers. He is accountable for determining the national market strategy, development and execution of the strategic plan, market and performance analytics, pricing, products and benefits design as well as managing the Medicare business in California. Gary has been at Kaiser Permanente since 2002 and was previously the Executive Director of National Medicare Strategy & Analytics, supporting regions outside California, a Senior Director as the Business line leader for California, and Senior Manager of Strategy for commercial lines of business. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Mr. Cox was a Marketing and Technology strategy consultant. Mr. Cox earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an Msc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the Haas School of business at the University of California-Berkeley.
