I am an experienced provider, educator, and leader in Emergency Medical Services. I currently serve as the President of the Chester County EMS Council Inc. The EMS Council serves as an advisory board to the Chester County Department of Emergency Services and represents all EMS agencies in the county. I manage two departments full time, collectively they run over calls a year and cover over 200 square miles. Each agency has a unique organizational structure to meet the needs of the agency. I previously served Mercy Health System EMS for 14 years, 11 as Deputy Chief. As Deputy Chief I was responsible for department scheduling, supervising on duty ALS and BLS units, incident management / command, quality assurance, community first aid and CPR training, and additional duties as assigned by the Chief of the department. Additionally I served as a Tactical Medical Operator on Delaware County Region 1 ERT and was a representative on the Delaware County EHS Council and regional QAQI committee. I have a degree in Nursing and am currently completing a BA in Emergency and Disaster Management.
