About Gary Daniel

Gary Daniel is a financial industry computer hardware and software system veteran. He retired after a 45-year career working for large and small public and private companies. He held management and executive positions at several companies providing data processing systems and services to banks and credit unions large and small. He was Director of Global Financial Industry Marketing for Unisys Corporation and Senior Vice President at M&T Bank, in Buffalo, NY. He has significant experience in system selection, software pricing, contract negotiation, implementation, training, and support of complex information processing systems. His career included working at Burroughs (now Unisys), Systematics and ALLTEL Information Services (now FIS, Fidelity National Information Services) and Open Solutions, Inc,(now Fiserv). He has been an active speaker and participant at many financial industry trade shows, common-interest events, industry webinars and on-site client consultations. Mr. Daniel was a charter member of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, a member of the American Management Association, Data Processing Management Association, Financial Managers Society, Association for Financial Technology, Sales and Marketing Executives Society and former board member of USA Federal Credit Union. He was a director of Banc Intranets, LLC, a Board Member at Allied Payment Network, and is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Mr. Daniel is listed in Who's Who in American Credit Unions. He is a financial industry consultant for the Gerson Lehrman Group in New York City as well as doing independent consulting for his own firm, Gary Daniel and Associates, LLC.
