I started working for EPIC Energy in Adelaide as one of their CP - FMO's (Cathodic Protection - Field Maintenance Officer - Integrity) in May 2013. We look after the integrity of the CP TRU's and Solar CP units on the Moomba to Adelaide Gas Pipeline and Moomba to Port Bonython Liquids Pipeline, including a number of Laterals. We assist with intelligent Pigging, CIPS and DCVG. I worked at Savcor (Perth based) from October 2006, shortly after my arrival in Australia, September 2006 until April 2013. I work extensively throughout WA, however I have worked on a number of occasions in Queensland and Papua New Guinea. I spent 20 years working in Cathodic Protection in South Africa & Africa (Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania). The OICCG was a joint facility providing CP services to Caltex, BP, Shell, Zenex and Engen (old Mobil).
