About Gary Dutra

I have a unique background and perspective due to the many different experiences and accomplishments I have had in my professional career. I graduated from SNHU with a degree in Culinary Service Management and a minor in Organizational Leadership. While going to school full-time, I began my career working in restaurants where I took on a variety of roles in both the front and back of house. Through this I learned many valuable skills and developed a very strong work ethic. I worked at Starbucks for over 8 years, mostly as a shift manager. My responsibilities included managing a team of employees, interviewing and hiring candidates, scheduling, overseeing the training process for new employees, and ordering product for the store. In 2018 I made the decision to change my career path and accepted a role at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. I began as a Member Service Representative. After excelling in this role, I moved to the Enrollment department where I was a processor on the Member Enrollment team, and then the Blues Enroll team. I was promoted to Enrollment QA Auditor and Coach which is my current role. I am responsible for quality checking the work of various departments in Enrollment and providing feedback and coaching when necessary.
