About Gary Fuchs

Extensive expertise in shaping public policy to drive business outcomes. Fuchs is currently Global Head of Public Sector Procurement Policy for Government Affairs and Public Policy (GA & PP) at HP Inc. He is responsible for developing differentiated policies in conjunction with business teams and external and political stakeholders. Immediately prior to his current position, Fuchs was Head of the Americas Region for GA & PP. He led North (U.S. State and Local and Canada), Central, and South America. Earlier responsibility with HP Inc.’s GA & PP included directing Government Affairs in the US East Region, as well as in Canada and Central America. Previously, Fuchs was with EDS, and he joined Hewlett Packard at the time of HP’s acquisition of that company. At EDS, Fuchs led the State and Local Government Affairs team. Other positions at EDS included Client Executive, responsible for commercial and state government accounts in the South Central Region of Texas, and Director of Global Business Partner Development, responsible for developing desktop and mobility infrastructure solutions. Gary earned his bachelor’s degree in Government and Political Science from the University of Maryland and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
