About Gary Grehan

From a young age I've had huge enjoyment from the use of technology, primarily from console gaming across multiple platforms. This kick started my interest in IT in general, wanting to gain a heightened understanding of hardware components/peripherals and software applications in relation to there purpose and how they function. This led me to studying Information Technology and Network Administration at third level. I'd been a member of the IT Service Desk with Lloyds Pharmacy Ireland for three and a half years. During my time on the desk I had to demonstrate I can stand out working as part of a team or on my own. I'm very goal oriented and enjoy working with deadlines. I'd regard myself as someone who is highly organised, manages their time wisely and can prioritize under pressure. I'm also someone who always looks to progress and achieve success in everything I do, a person who is not afraid to make mistakes, to learn from others and ultimately reach personal and career goals. October 2020 I began the role of Technical Application Maintenance Specialist with PHXIreland. Where I supported the IT Systems and applications across Lloyds Pharmacy Ireland during their life cycle and became actively involved in future system developments. As of April 2024 I commenced the role of Desktop Support Engineer for United Drug. Actively configuring and supporting our M365 environment, client applications and end user devices across United Drug Wholesale, United Drug Distributors, United Drug Consumer and TCP Homecare.
