Gary was the architect of Staging Connections, growing it from an idea to a major corporation. Gary served on the Board of Governors of the International Communications Industry Association (InfoComm.org), was awarded the Entech “Audiovisual Industry Development Award” in (entech-tradeshow.com) and in 2004 was voted one of the “Twenty most influential people in the Meetings Industry” by MICE.net magazine which stated “Gary’s business foresight and the subsequent creation of Staging Connections has not only created hundreds of jobs nationally, but helped position Australia at the forefront of technical excellence”. In 2003 Gary sold his interest in Staging Connections to AAV Limited and retired from the company in 2006. In 2007, Gary launched the specialist audiovisual outsourcing firm - AVPartners.
