About Gary Harms

As organizations mature, their projects and processes should change and grow. But too often, established organizations become mired in “the way we’ve always done it.” For more than 30 years, I’ve helped nationally-recognized leaders and organizations by reviewing their processes, evaluating their existing projects, and identifying ways to improve their operational efficiency. Often, this involves understanding the differences between “leaders” and “managers” and the roles that each play in a larger system. My objective as a partner in identifying and implementing needed change is to increase job satisfaction, make organizations more competitive and effective, and actualize the agility that will lead to growth. I enjoy working with and speaking to innovators in all fields who are looking for a partner to review their organization’s projects and processes holistically. Over the years, I have developed solutions for: Financial Services Professionals: I help professionals in this sector cultivate essential knowledge, perspectives, and methods that lead to necessary changes and new growth. Non-Profit Professionals: I partner with clients who are associated with non-profit organizations—such as Special Olympics, the American Heart Association, Susan G. Komen, and many others—to provide guidance during times of challenge and change. C-Level Innovators and Leaders: Even the most dedicated, growth-minded professional can occasionally feel “lost.” As a mentor, I assist individuals in various disciplines and sectors navigate institutional systems to reach their goals. As a multidisciplinary leader, I build strategic plans and couple them with tactics to bring those plans to fruition, and I enjoy speaking with individuals and groups of any size about my experiences and theirs.
