Seasoned management professional, commercially astute, well grounded in operations, with experience in the food, pharmaceutical and packaging industries in a wide range of roles and diverse sizes of operation, from high speed filling operations, through batch processing to hand packing tasks, and also in contract manufacturing and packing. Skilful in motivating personnel performance, optimising equipment efficiency, utilising disciplined planning techniques. Exposure in the food industry ranges from short shelf life dairy foods requiring a working knowledge of microbiological processes, through aseptic processing and packaging, to snackfoods where freshness was the most important aspect, and on to preserved foods such as glace cherries, fruit cakes and puddings. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS • Completely revamped the operations at Tismor Health and Wellness, achieving a positive EBITDA for two consecutive months for the first time in the Tismor’s ownership of the site. • Consistently increased output at Big Sister Foods at Ermington over 3 consecutive Christmas periods to meet the fruit mince pie demands of the major supermarket chains as well as the needs of more boutique customers by line optimisation and shift rearrangements. • Implemented programmes increasing number of crews and optimising the production plan to meet a 50% increase in demand at Anzpac in ensuring preferred supplier status with BAT • Instrumental in the managed and staged closure of the Sydney operations of Kettle including redundancies and redeployment, and the relocation and improvement of these operations within the Campbell's Soups Shepparton plant in 1998
