Former Principle Leader (Director & VP AS) of The Scotts - Miracle Grow (Scotts) Global Environmental Program for over a decade as the Chief of all Environmental Programs, Policies, Projects and Actions (1987-2005). Streamlined Environmental Procedures and Environmental Process Controls to lead Scotts from being one of the lowest ranking environmental programs in Ohio to one of the most cost-effective, functional and respected in the USA. As a result, Scotts received the Ohio's Governor's Award in 1996 for being a leader in Pollution Prevention, The Adaris Group's Citizenship Award, the Ohio Chemistry Council Award and acheived ISO 14001 Certification for the Global Environmental Management Program I directed. I was an employee of Owens Corning for 15 years where I held several positions in Environmental Design Engineering, Plant Environmental Management & Engineering, and, Faciilties, Utilities Maintenance, Environmental Engineering. Credited with four extremely useful inventions during my 35 year plus career, and saved my employers, in total over in operating cost. Headed up the City of Toledo's Brownfield Remediation Program, as Manager of Public Utilities, to remediate and prepare environmentally challenged properties for business and residential reuse. Revamped the City's Process Environmental Control Systems, improving productivity by 90%. Since retirement from environmental responsibilities in industry and government, my goal is to continue to be a leader in the educational process for post-high school students. Specialties: Practical educator in Engineering Technology fousing on Engineering Economics and Statistics for engineers and scientists.(2007- Present) I am an accomplished Environmental Management Expert. A recognized teacher and writer with over 30 publications in the field of Enironmental Quality. Rated top lecturer of all time by the Ohio Education Council.
