Background

About Gary Larson

I’m a Technical Program Manager specializing in designing scalable systems, leading cross-functional initiatives, and building real-world solutions. I bring hands-on leadership experience managing projects from concept to deployment, with a strong technical foundation in TypeScript, Next.js, and T-SQL. Currently, I lead the program design and implementation for CFA’s Talent Portal platform, driving project planning, cross-team alignment, and delivery of clean, maintainable solutions. I architect CI/CD pipelines, backend services, and developer workflows to support scalable and sustainable growth. Beyond platform development, I spearheaded the development and management of processes and workflows for Project Factory, a career readiness initiative. Working across multiple teams with stakeholder input, I structured experiential learning opportunities and jobseeker portfolio development aligned to current industry trends and high-demand skills. Outside of work, I am a woodsy natural aquarium hobbyist who enjoys spending my evenings leading World of Warcraft raids. Let’s connect if you want to talk tech, program management, or system design!
