About Gary Larson

Following 35+ years of successfully practicing architecture nationwide as the Larson Group Architects in Colorado Springs, Gary has relocated to Birmingham, Alabama along with his wife, Sherrill. While Sherrill pursues her new position as Academic Director for Highlands College, a ministry of Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, Gary has joined forces with TurnerBatson Architects. Gary's responsibilities at TurnerBatson are: • Coaching the firm's leadership and Team on best practices; • Staff professional and personal growth; • Project design and leadership; • Brand management and marketing coordination; • Client development; • Instilling a "purpose driven" culture within the workplace. It is a pleasure and honor for Gary to serve TurnerBatson and others in this role. However, at the end of the day, Gary's main role in life is to honor God through Jesus Christ and to grow in Him, as well as be a good husband, friend and provider for his lovely wife Sherrill. Additionally, being a good father, grandfather, friend, mentor and citizen is the most important part of his life. Finally, Gary strives to do all that he can to help fulfill the Great Commission in preparation of Jesus' triumphal return.
