About Gary Lau

I started in the real estate industry right after I completed National Service because I saw its vast potential. After dealing in the real estate market for around five years, I decided to start managing my team full-time in 1996. Now, I'm leading the Prime Group of Division as one of the Chief Agency Directors at ERA, specialising my team in the sales and rental of private residential properties in the prime districts of 9, 10, 11, and 15. As I grow along the real estate industry, I discovered that I had so much passion for helping people. I found tremendous fulfilment in helping others learn how to love and take care of themselves and their family. That’s why I pivoted my real estate career towards team building and training, acquiring credentials from the National Skills Recognition System (NSRS), Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) & also trained with a Certificate Course in Marketing of Foreign Properties (CCMFP). I’m proud to say I’ve taught over salespersons as a trainer. And in 2014, salespersons from the Prime Division accounted for over 17% of the Top 300 Achievers for that year. I truly love seeing someone grow from being a nobody to a somebody. While I continue my career in real estate, I want to learn more from the people around me as well. As leaders in a changing market, we all have to upskill ourselves to stay relevant in the industry. I believe everyone has something to offer in terms of insight and knowledge. Such as in the Ultimate Leadership Warrior Camp; even if I’m one of the trainers at the camp, I’m learning so much from the participants there too.
